Detailed program

Day 1

Meeting with the guide at the airport / railway station. A small sightseeing tour of Irkutsk with a visit to the main attractions: historical and architectural monuments, old streets and neighborhoods. Transfer to Listvyanka village, located one hour from the city (70 km).
Start hiking from the hotel to the camp site "Shelter miners" (22 km). The route includes the ascent through the mountains of the Primorsky Range, the crossing of the Black Pass (955 m). The path goes through a dense forest and along the shore of Lake Baikal, allowing you to admire the change of amazing landscapes. Remote from the bustle of the city "Shelter miners" is located on the Black Creek, 200 meters from the shore of the lake.

Day 2

Trekking along the lake to the village of Bolshie Koty (18 km from the village Listvyanka). In summer, a high-speed vessel runs between settlements. The Cats have their own Baikal Studies Museum, representing the flora and fauna of the lake. Visiting the museum for an additional fee.
Trek to Skriper Mountain (3 km from Bolshiy Koty). The mountain range is different from the others in its structure. There is even a version that it was previously under water, which explains its sand and pebble structure. View of the expanses of Lake Baikal with the Scriper leaves an indelible impression. Return to Big Cats for overnight.

Day 3

Trek along the coast to the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoe (38 km from Listvyanka). On the way - overnight in the forest.

Day 4

Go the rest of the way. Day in the village of Big Goloustnoye. The main attraction is St. Nicholas Church with a bright rich history and incredible legends about it.
To the south of Bolshoy Goloustniy there is the Dry Lake, which then dries out, presenting a green glade to the gaze, then it is filled once every few years with water surrounded by a picturesque forest. On the way you can admire the flora and fauna of the great lake.

Day 5

Transfer to Irkutsk after breakfast (120 km, ~ 2, 5 hours on the way)

You must have at least 2 sets of clothes and 2 pairs of shoes.

3) Food: when placed on the camp site - 3 times hotter.
When spending the night in the forest - food is cooked on the fire by athe guide 2 times a day.
At lunchtime - packed lunch and hot tea.
